Tap Box Installation

The reversible design of the Tap box enables the door to opened from the left or right, position the rubber gromet accordingly.  Should you wish to stop unauthorised use the tap box door has a latch which will accept your own padlock.

Position the tap box around the tap, leaving sufficient space to be able to turn the tap, but also making sure that when the connectors and hose are fastened to the tap there is enough room to maneouvre the hose through the open gromet.

There is an additional sheet of insulation included to place against your wall, this will also help as a guide to line up your tap.(this will work on the majority of outside taps.)

A foam insulation pack is included to provide additional tap insulation.

Each Box comes complete with the following:-

• 2 x 1/2" Hose Connectors
• 1 x 1/2" and 3/4" Tap Connector
• 1 x 1/2" 2 way Connector
• 1 x 260mm long 1/2" Hose
• 2 x rubber gromets
• 1 x insulation to place on wall
• Complete with fittings & fixing instructions
• Foam Insulation Pack

The Tap Box kit comes complete with a foam insulation pack to provide additional insulation to the tap and hose. This is easily fitted around the tap.
The first piece of foam goes around the tap itself and secured with zip ties, the second fits around the hose fitting and the hose pipe, secured at the top with a zip tie as shown in the photo. (Some triming may be required).
